I vividly remember Prince Charles presenting Lady Diana with a smashing blue sapphire engagement ring. Then there was The Wedding which I avidly watched on Italian TV. Years have passed but the famous engagement ring has re-emerged on the hand of another lovely young woman. It's almost like a family heirloom that belongs to the world! I bought this small piece of history (or a facsimile of history) to remember the passing years and the beauty of jewels - real or otherwise. This one's a beauty and totally withing a non-royal budget.
